Waldery Hilgeman received a doctorate in Utroque Iure (canon and civil law) from the Pontifical Lateran University, with specialization in Jurisprudence from the Pontifical Gregorian University. He has a diploma from the Studium of the Congregation of Causes of Saints (Holy See) and a member of the College of Postulators.
He received his Philosophical and Theological formation from the Pontifical University Antonianum and the International Centre for Studies and Social Experiences in Loppiano ("Work of Mary").
Dr. Hilgeman is a member of various ecclesiastical tribunals and member of several canon law societies. Several of his works had been published in specialized academic journals.
